hey, I was thinking of getting FoW armor for my warrior, so i decided to look up on some builds that would possibally help get ecto's and shards, so i came across some FoW Spider Run builds and some pretty cool Elementalist solo in the UW, after reading up on tons of builds and watching a variaty of video's, i decided well thats good enough i'll go try it out for myself.

I must have spent over 70k on skills, armor, including all the trys i did in FoW and UW, so i practiced with my ritualist, monk,elementalist,and warrior, they have probably over 3 builds that have to do with soloing. but for me its just not working, the builds i looked at were after all these nerfs, or w/e but it still doesn't work for me, i have to keep coming back to forums and reading what to do next ex: activate 1,2,3, rince and repeat etc etc. it still doesn't work for me for some reason, attribute seems to be on check and everything, but i'm still winding up with my face on the floor haha!

what am i doing wrong? can someone help me out? i just don't get it

Sounds like you are dying from things your builds aren't meant to farm. Like in the FoW the spider farm you have to run past the enemies til you get to the cave where you farm (and get this) the spiders. And in the UW you fight the Grasping's and then run past the Aatxe patrols to get to the Smites which is what the builds are meant to farm. Many of the UW/FoW farming builds still work even after the nerfs.

Sometimes it takes practice with the builds to do it right. A guildie of mine had to spend 10k on uw/fow entrance fees before even getting the first part of the farm down.

same. i 55/ss with my olias, took me many tries to learn to pass the bladed axatxe with the dying nightmares. now is just another quick farming place

You might need to "piggy back" on someone doing the farm. (you run and die then switch to the other character view and watch what he does).
This is by far the most easy way to learn a run,- now all you need is to find someone who'll give you a ride!

(might add: i don't farm FoW or UW these days - so i would make a terrible teacher)
